Professional movable sled chicken coop
Among our mobile professional chicken coops, you'll find the model with a sled system, built to the most modern safety standards. The sled-type professional chicken coop shed consists of a 5.85 x 3.75 m metal structure with a maximum height of 3.10 m. The entire structure is self-supporting, rests directly on the ground, and complies with UNI EN 10025 standards, 90 m of hot-rolled steel.
The structure is made up of four portals, in turn made up of 60 x 40 x 3 mm tubular elements, resting on slides which are used to move the structure, made up of 100 x 100 x 5 mm tubular elements.
The four portals are stiffened by lateral cross-members, 60 x 40 x 3 mm tubular sections, placed at a height of +0.45 m from ground level. The gabled roof is made of thermal insulation panels with a minimum size of 40 mm resting on 40 x 40 x 3 mm tubular sections.
The installation surface of the structure, gridded for chickens, is placed at a height of + 45 cm from the ground level and supports a load of 200 kg per m2.
The space underneath the slatted frame allows for natural ventilation, which dries the manure and prevents unpleasant odors. Professional sled coops have an internal dimension of 3.63 by 5.70 meters, equal to a slatted frame surface area of 20.60 square meters.
The scratching area, which must cover 30% of the floor space, is created with 10.00 m2 shelves at a height of approximately 0.50 m. The total usable area for the hens is 30.60 m2, which, at a stocking density of nine hens per square meter, is suitable for a total of 275 hens.
Professional movable chicken coop on wheels
The mobile chicken coop on wheels is also part of our professional chicken coops. The professional chicken coop's shed is made of a metal structure measuring 2.98 x 2.51 m, with a maximum height of 2.90 m. The structure is composed of two portals, made of 40 x 40 x 3 mm tubular elements that rest on solid rubber wheels for moving the structure. The two portals are stiffened by lateral cross-members, made of 40 x 40 x 3 mm tubular elements, positioned approximately 0.45 m above ground level.
The gabled roof is made of thermally insulating panels measuring at least 40 mm, resting on 40 x 40 x 3 mm tubular steel. The entire structure is self-supporting and rests directly on the ground via wheels. It also complies with the UNI EN 10025 hot-rolled steel standard.
The chicken coop is placed 45 cm above ground level and supports a load of 200 kg per square meter. The space underneath the coop allows for natural ventilation, which dries the chicken droppings and prevents unpleasant odors.
Professional wheeled chicken coops have an internal dimension of 2.88 x 2.42 m, equal to a slatted floor area of 6.96 m2. The scratching area, which must cover 30% of the floor area, is created with 2.88 m2 shelves at a height of approximately 0.50 m.
In this way, the total surface area that can be used by the hens is 9.88 m2, which for a density of nine hens per m2 is suitable for 88 hens in total.
