Innovative nests for hens
At our headquarters in Caserta, we offer several models of innovative nests designed to house your laying hens in a safe and comfortable way. Discover all the features of our Colosseo and Reggia nests!
Colosseo Nest
Among the innovative nests we showcased at the International Agricultural Fair in Verona is the Colosseo nest. This model is available with a 50 cm or 30 cm collection belt, in both central and wall-mounted versions. The roof is walkable, allowing the entire surface of the shed to be used without subtracting the space taken up by the nest.
The structure is made of certified birch wood, water-repellent and fire-resistant, bonded with high-compression steam phenolic glue, suitable for disinfection and washing. The nest comes with:
- AstroTurf laying mat;
- Rear egg collection compartment with mesh underneath and a 50–30 cm belt inclined in the centre;
- Anti-pecking egg grid;
- Night-time closure.
Reggia Nest
The Reggia nest, with the same structure as the Colosseo nest, has been part of our line of innovative nests for over twenty years. The nest comes with:
- Nine collective laying bowls;
- Rear inspectable egg collection compartment with mesh underneath and a 25 cm belt inclined in the centre;
- Inspectable roof on the front side (can be installed either individually, for small farms, or in series and can be automated for both egg collection and night-time closure).
The nest is also available in the version with four collective bowls for farms with up to 50 hens.
